We have the latest Digital x-ray technology housed within our practice. Digital x-rays have advantages over conventional film x-rays in that they use approximately 1/3 of x-radiation to create the image. They allow us to enlarge the image to see small changes, increase or decrease contrast so small lesions become clearer.

 

Dental radiography allows for diagnosis of certain diseases, plan for the appropriate treatment as well as monitoring for treatment success.

 

An intra-oral camera is a tiny digital camera that fits comfortably in your mouth and enables the dentist to show you an enlarged image of your smile on a computer screen.

 

During diagnosis this helps with clearly defined images that show details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. It can also allow you to see the inside of your mouth and confront problems or review procedures as they progress.
